I think it would be fun to go to an indoor or outdoor shooting range sometime. Although you can always rent a piece, having your own is less susceptible to jams and the familiarity of marksmanship.
I have a .40 Cal and about 350 rounds I'd like to send off

Well depending on how big of a group, there's a nice shooting range near Angels Stadium..they allow all sorts of ballistics (but only 6 bays). Hell, even if we all shared my piece...it'll be a change from grub & car stuff.

I've been to the indoor shooting range in Brea a couple times, took a gun safety course there many moons ago. Down to go shoot again though, it's been a while...
