I'll definitely make it to some of the meets. I'm not sure about tomorrow. My dad just got out of the hospital last week, and tonight, we had a little scare.  I may need to stay home and force him to relax and convince him to retire. You know how these fuckin' workaholics are . I'm taking him to the doctor's tomorrow, so we'll see what's up. |

Thanks for the well wishes!
Unfortunately, his heart stopped for a few seconds in the middle of the night, so he had to be admitted to the hospital earlier this afternoon.
They'll be putting in a pace maker early next week, but I think he'll be fine.

I have to hand to cardiologists and the wonders of their technology. I have a 2 yr old nephew who has already gone through 3 open-heart surgeries to repair a valve between heart & lung.
I'm sure the heart procedure will be easier than trying to convince your dad he needs to retire and stop working so hard. Kudos to you for stepping in.

It'll be tough convincing him. 1. He's a workaholic. 2. I can't land a job even at some entry level position  3. I've got 2 younger brothers that need to at least get their AA Degree. But I'm pretty sure I won't have any problems convincing him after surgery. |
