already texted u bout this, but I cant do it this weekend, due to the fact that i have finals next week and need the weekend for studying.
maybe another weekend tho, when it gets cooler outside!!

5mile hike from the base of Azusa canyon to The Bridge to Nowhere. No breeze, sun beating down, taking a easy-moderate trail to the bridge. Mostly rock, several stream crossings, high ledges, some parts only 18" wide. I bunjee'd 4 in a row (backward, Foward, Lumberjack, Elevator)....waited about 4hours...finished my last jump using ankle harness. The ankle one is pretty gnarly. It's a beautiful swan dive off the bridge, I'm within 8-10 feet of a rock at the bottom of the bridge, i get snapped like a worm, fall again, swing through some tree brush, swing again, blah blah. While hanging upside down, attempt to find the retrieval winch line, clip on, and get pulled up. Finally leave the bridge @ 630pm, hike 5mi back. the night creeps up on us, we lose the trail, get lost in complete darkness, running low on water, tired as hell, and an old river rat (he looked like jesus with a spotlight) helps us find our way to the main road. It was about a 1hr detour. Awesome day for sure. So who's going next time? |

of the dozens of times i've jumped off a crane, a bridge is waaaaay better. especially when it's a 103 ft bridge and the bunjee stretches to 90 ft   |

pic is from facebook, I dont' know if the link is broken on your computer. its organized by the ONLY Bunjee company in california, regulated by OSHA. They get inspected numerous times a year just like disneyland, six flags, etc. This company makes enough to own that bridge and the land around it. |
