Hey guys,
I was showing you guys some of my pics off my iPhone at the meet but its hard to really see.  Here's my page.
Right now Im using this as my portfolio. (www.jonesingforadventure.com)
www.Jonesingforspeed.com 's photo gallery has my auto pics.  I just started taking pics with cars

I was also telling you about the family business in the tropics.  If you guys know any scuba divers, please send them my way.
Here are the company sites (www.islandcruiseadventure.com, www.expeditionfleet.com and www.bahura.com)
www.islandcruiseadventure.com is the USA site.  www.expeditionfleet.com is the asia site but since our office in the Philippines is the main office, that site has more detailed and updated info than the US site.  www.bahura.com is one of our resorts in the philippines.  Its one of our best products with a lot of content on its own so we created a separate site for it alone.

Anyway guys.  I hope you enjoy my shots.  and again, if you need me to come out and take shots of your cars, let me know.

I'd be down to meet up sometime and shoot our cars together. I'd like to learn a little more with my A200 and I really like your shots. You should join this photography forum I'm on, run by a guy from NASIOC.

www.newschoolofphotography.com

It's still pretty small (almost 700 members only 200 or so active) but there are some great photographers on there. Just think of it as a chance to grab a low member number before the place blows up!  Cheesy

lol the fisheye lens actually makes it look smaller than it really is.  Yeah that thing was fucking huge.
They arrant aggressive or anything like that, they're really chill and they eat plankton.
Only thing scary about taking pics of these guys are the tail.  For you to take a good pic, you need to get infront or ontop of it.  But literally you need to be right up against it because youre using such a wide angle lens.  (10.5mm fisheye)
and these guys may look like theyre cruising slow, but theyre hauling ass.
The tail weighs about 2500lbs so imagine getting whacked by it, youre dead...
So when i take shots of these guys, you have to time it right.  You snap your shots and right when youre done, you swim you ass away from the tail.

look at the divers in reference to the size

(10.5mm fisheye)

Holy moly!  I'd love to get a 10.5mm lens.  Do you use Nikon or Canon glass?

nice pics!

I shoot with a Nikon D200 and a Fuji S2 Pro, the S2 uses nikon lenses too.
About the 10.5mm fisheye, it is a great lens BUT I recommend the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye.
Its so much more convenient.  I don't use my 10.5mm anymore.

I used to cary a 10.5mm fisheye for large creatures, ship wrecks and reef shots.
a 16mm fisheye for the mid size stuff   (sharks, mantas etc.)
so it was really frustrating deciding on what lens to bring down with you, and almost every time you choose one lens, you'd come across a photo opportunity that required the other lens.  So the 10-17mm is great... you're always ready, no more headaches.
The only headache now is deciding between the 10-17mm fisheye and the 60mm macro.

For land I use a 10-20mm wide and the 18-200mm VR

I've narrowed it down to 4 great workhorse lenses.

if you go to my site (www.jonesingforadventure.com)  I have the pic and the lenses I used on the pics description.

^ no worries man, there will always be more meets. If you have nothing to do tomorrow and feel like driving all the way to cerritos, there I'd a huge Subaru meet at 11 am-3pm sunday. 100+ subarus and we'll all be there. There is a caravan leaving from the meet spot, not sure what time.

Anyways...

I actually logged on here to see if you guys wanted to post some of your pics up.
I have to make a menu for my website's shopping cart.  I was hoping to use some of your cars.

I need pics of:
02-03 WRX
04-05 WRX
04-05 STI
06-07 WRX
06-07 STI
08-09 WRX
08-09 STI
Forester
Legacy

Preferably front view 45 degree angle shots, kind of like your F4 blue subaru at the top of the page.
Hope you guys can help.
Thanks

If you go to my site, www.jonesingforspeed.com

Cobb, Invidia, Tien, Whiteline, Cosworth etc..  Just the good ones.

I still gotta do the muscle cars after this....never ends....

If you guys know anyone that needs anything please send them my way
Thanks again

I just never ever had any comfort issues, and cargo issues...
The STI is a constant pain in the asshole, the only time I like my STI better is when Im sitting at Starbucks and looking at her from the parking lot, or haulin ass..  But for that 99% of the year I think the wag.....what the fuck am I saying!?!?  Im going to sleep...
