I couldn't think of any more accurate description for the thread title, but I'm already snickering at it (yes, I can be that immature).
In any case, at various speeds / engine RPM, I would hear a low-pitch grinding noise. Almost vibration sounding. So I got home, checked the dipstick in case fluids were low or something.
To my surprise, the dipstick looked normal, but when I got this 6 speed, I don't know if the dipstick is supposed to be straight or bends at a slight angle? I saw this.....the end of my dipstick was chewed up. I hope small metal bits are at the bottom of the trans pan and not floating around.
Just as a comparison, is your 6sp transmission dipstick also slightly bent? Please let me know, I'm getting nervous.
