Most machine shops will resurface the flywheel, but the closest reputable place for me was in Torrance / Redondo Beach.  I guess that's a ways from Garden grove.

You took the transmission off the wagon yourself previously, right?

1)  up on all fours
2)  front wheels off
3)  drain trans fluid
4)  rear driveshaft off
5)  remove brake line brackets , disconnect front suspension
6)  remove front axle nuts
7)  use prybar to remove axles (may require rotation, pop, rotation, pop, a clip might get in the way)
Cool  remove downpipe & midpipe
7)  remove starter
Cool  remove shift linkage assembly (the bushing between shifter & chassis.  right underneath shift boot)
9)  remove sheet metal boot holder thingy (holds down the shift boot to chassis, found in cabin)
10)  transmission jack in place
11)  loosen all bolts between transmission and engine block  (keep a note of which bolts are longer than others.  My friend decided to strip my threads when it went back in the wrong order)
12)  UNDO clutch fork assembly
13)  wiggle the transmission down & towards rear of car (in a staircase fashion)
14)  remove clutch bolts,
15)  remove flywheel (14mm) you might need impact wrench.  Turning with hand power will cause flywheel to rotate, thus never removing the bolt

good luck!

Awesome. thanks anson. yeah i pulled the trans out of the wagon. so i've got one under my belt.

still debating return to stock, don't mess with clutch and sell/trade in. or change clutch, finish building car, enjoy car. then sell.
